Fjordhaus sits at the edge of a fjord, where mornings belong to mist and coffee, and evenings belong to long dinners and even longer silence. We are a small hotel — twelve rooms, each individually designed — because we believe true hospitality can't scale.

A thoughtfully small room with a comfortable double bed, reading nook, and a window overlooking the lower gardens. Perfect for solo travellers or couples who need very little — and appreciate that.
A spacious room with a king-size bed, a sitting area by the window, and an unobstructed view of the fjord. The kind of room that makes you want to cancel your plans and stay in.
Our signature suite occupies the entire top floor. A private terrace, separate living room, and 270° views of the water and mountains. For those occasions that deserve something special.

A daily spread of local breads, smoked fish, seasonal fruit, and excellent coffee. Served until 11 am — no rushing.
A small wellness room with sauna, cold plunge, and a selection of massage treatments available on request.
Ample on-site parking, entirely free for guests. Electric charging points available for two vehicles.
Fast, reliable WiFi throughout the hotel. We won't judge you for working remotely — the view helps.
Where We Are
Fjordhaus sits at the edge of a small village on the eastern shore, two hours from the nearest airport and a world away from everything noisy. The village has a bakery, a small harbour, and a path that leads up the ridge in about an hour.
